We need to get more bold with our clients and our prospects! One of the things I see a lot with women is that we beat around the bush, we tread lightly on sensitive topics and fear any backlash, rejection or anger someone might throw at us for being supportive, honest and real.

But if we really want to help people, if we want to make an impact, we have to bust through the illusion bubbles that many people are sitting in. 

For many of us, the goal of our sales calls and our work is to provide clarity. If we keep tip-toeing around the obvious, if we don’t ask the hard questions, we aren’t providing clarity and we aren’t serving the people we are talking to. 

In my line of work, these hard questions are often around sales, numbers and the reality of getting from where you are to where you want to be. A lot of people don’t have a well-thought-out plan or in some cases a plan at all. They HOPE they will get to their goals, but their actions are misaligned, their intentions are not realistic and they don’t yet KNOW what it is going to take to get to their successful business, leadership platform or financial goals. 

Our job is to be more direct and ask the hard questions. It is the only path to clarity. How bold are you being?
